Prestressing reinforcement (PRE-Stress)

Version 9.2 by Fredrik Lagerström on 2021/03/03 08:30

Prestressed reinforcement is defined using the following parameters. It is also important to select the bar type to get the correct geometrical properties.

fyk: Characteristic yield stress [MPa]

fuk: Ultimate tensile strength [MPa]

Esk: Ultimate tensile strength [MPa]

εud: Elongation of reinforcement at maximum load [-]

εlimit: Limit elongation [-]

γs: Partial factor for steel materials [-]

For prestressed reinforcement of Wire and Single wire types, it is possible to set a reinforcement diameter of the following dimensions:

  • 6.90 mm (Area: 29 mm2)
  • 7.00 mm (Area: 30 mm2)
  • 8.00 mm (Area: 38 mm2)
  • 9.00 mm (Area: 50 mm2)
  • 9.30 mm (Area: 52 mm2)
  • 9.60 mm (Area: 55 mm2)
  • 11.00 mm (Area: 70 mm2)
  • 11.30 mm (Area: 75 mm2)
  • 12.50 mm (Area: 93 mm2)
  • 12.90 mm (Area: 100 mm2)
  • 13.00 mm (Area: 102 mm2)
  • 15.20 mm (Area: 139 mm2)
  • 15.70 mm (Area: 150 mm2)
